Black beans are a great source of protein and although this might not win awards for looking beautiful, it is really tasty dip and great for packed lunches or weekend salads.
Black Bean Hummus. Vegan. Gluten Free.Print This
- 1 Large clove of garlic
- 150g Black beans
- 2 Tsp Tahini
- 2 Tbsp Water
- 2 Tsp Lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Tsp Cumin powder
- Good shake of salt and pepper
Pop all the ingredients into a small blender, or use a hand held blender, and whizz up.
Tastes great on oatcakes, rye bread or in wraps with fresh peppers.
