Coaching & Online Courses

There are so many quick fix health solutions and weight loss promises being sold to us these days, but the truth is, that most of these approaches don’t work, certainly not in the long term. Quite often when we take up prescribed ways of eating without also paying attention what is going on in our minds around food, we can end up in a worse place than where we started – with the added disappointment of feeling like a failure!

5 years after a diet most people have regained the weight, and around 40% have gained even more*

What Is Food & Well-being Coaching?

Achieving good health and a better relationship with food, whether it be weight loss or improved lifestyle habits, really starts in our heads and it this that differentiates my approach to many others that simply focus on changing your diet. I know this, because I was there once myself.

In order to achieve your health goals you need to go a bit deeper into the ‘whys’, understand more about what might be tripping you up in the way that you are thinking and feeling, and get the nutritional knowledge and lifestyle skills to help you to feel happier with your weight and better in yourself, long term.

I teach a ‘mind, body food’ approach to health and well-being.  Rather than simply focusing on food and nutrition, I help people to develop mindset and lifestyle skills that focus on both physical and emotional well-being – that’s how you really get results!

I Offer Two Approaches:

The Healthy Mind, Healthy Body Programme

I have an 8 module online course with an active student community that I coach in. The Healthy Mind, Healthy Body Programme, shows you step-by-step how to transform your mindset, escape yo-yo dieting and start on the path towards better physical and emotional health.

The programme is the only online course of its kind and provides you with:

  1. Access to community support and live coaching – there is an active student community hosted on Facebook that I coach in weekly to provide you with support and answer any questions.
  2. Mindset techniques that will enable you to change your behaviour and create powerful results that last a lifetime.
  3. Nutritional knowledge that focuses on blood sugar stability and eating for health and well-being.
  4. Systems and techniques that will enable you to stick with what you have learned.

You can learn more about the course here. There are fixed term start dates, but you can take the course at your own pace if you choose to.

The Healthy Mind, Healthy Body Programme, plus one-to-one coaching:

If you feel that you would benefit from one-to-one support. I offer a package of coaching and the online course. Using the course as a basis for our work, we work together to understand how your current thought patterns might be affecting your relationship with food, and work on mindset techniques to empower you to get to where you want to go.

This is feedback from a client who recently completed my coaching programme:

I am far more tuned in to who I am and the changes I am capable of making to improve on my emotional, physical and mental well-being.  I am then making this happen. I no longer feel out of control, I feel insightful, positive with my mind fizzing for the good.

The Mind, Body, Food Connection

Real changes come about when we are able to focus on both self development and improved nutrition. Emotional and physical health go hand-in-hand. Rather than making weight loss a goal, if we focus on introducing health promoting lifestyle habits and mindset techniques, if you desire to lose weight, you will no doubt be successful and it will be a far more enjoyable and healthier way to do it.

By learning how to make healthier and more mindful/intuitive food choices, you could free yourself of bad habits and escape the clutches of the diet club FOR GOOD! Improving your relationship with food, and with yourself, may also help you to gain a feeling of calm, increase your energy and alertness levels, and create a sense of peace in your life.

“I love how eating is changing and just how aware I am of the choices I am making. I am enjoying food in a completely different and wonderful way. Thank you!”
