Leading busy lives and juggling commitments can often mean that rustling up a healthy meal is the last thing on your mind. This weekend retreat is set in a beautiful place where you will learn how to create simple healthy food, have the opportunity to enjoy a yoga class and guided meditation and chill out so that you glide into the following week feeling Zen and ready to unleash your healthy kitchen goddess!

The Mindful Cook retreats are based in the kitchen, but are not a traditional cookery course. The weekend is all about well-being and the key lifestyle areas where making small changes can have a big impact on how you feel. Nutritious food, movement, mindfulness and time for yourself are all important factors in your health and happiness and this weekend is a gift of all of those.

The retreat runs from Friday evening to Sunday morning and includes two nights bed and breakfast at a beautiful venue in Norfolk, all meals and workshops, morning yoga, and evening meditation.

Feeling the need to get inspired in the kitchen?

Join me and other guests at The Mindful Cook Food and Well-being Retreat on the 13th and 14th of September 2019.  A weekend of great food, relaxation and good company in a stunning setting.

You will be invited to take part in some simple food preparation in a relaxed environment, get involved in some creative healthy cooking and learn some techniques that will help you to truly look after yourself inside out.

At the end of the weekend you will leave having learned some new dishes, gained some knowledge on ingredients and have the recipes and know-how to re-create them at home.  Don’t worry! You won’t be stroking a pear for hours on end, the retreat is designed to provide you with realistic, practical techniques that you can use every day.

There is an opportunity to take part in guided meditation and early morning yoga sessions and you are welcome to join in as much or as little as you want – it’s entirely up to you. Nothing about this weekend is obligatory, you can pick and choose whatever you want to do.

Most of all, the weekend is about taking time for yourself, experiencing and tasting some new dishes that are delicious and nutritious, and being inspired out of a food rut and into a healthy, happy kitchen!

At least one vegan and one gluten free dish will be included in the retreat. The retreat runs from Friday evening to Sunday morning.

The Venue:

Fishley Hall is an extra special venue. It provides the perfect setting for a weekend away to rejuvenate, re-charge and chill out. It is perfectly equipped retreat venue, set on a gorgeous working farm, among 350 acres of nature. All of the huge bathrooms have roll top baths and showers, the bedrooms are beautifully comfortable and spacious. There are two comfortable lounges to break out and relax in, and a stunning glass conservatory yoga and meditation space that brings the outside in whilst being lovely and warm.

The venue is just minutes from the Norfolk broads and just 10 miles from the beautiful coastal town of Winterton-On-Sea.  It is easily accessible from London via train connections and a lovely local cab company.
