I am often asked about healthy snacks. These are great to grab if you are on the go or before/after exercise. Nutritionally they pack a great punch and are rich in energy. You can start with an easy base recipe, then mix in any other things you like. You may need to add more nut butter/sweetener or water dependent upon how dry your mixture is. Keeping your hands clean when making them is key to creating nice even balls.

- 125g Chopped Dates
- 40g Crushed Up Pecan Nuts
- 12g Smooth Peanut Butter
- A little Water
- 15g Flax seeds
Crush your flax seeds a little to release the oils. Then pop all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. It should create a sticky mixture that holds together when lightly squeezed. If not add more water. Roll into balls with your hands and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
