Feeling a little under the weather? This smoothie can help you fight back. It’s packed with healthful ingredients including Turmeric which contains curcumin, a substance with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, and spinach which is a nutritional powerhouse containing magnesium, iron, B vitamins and so much more. This is a real glass of culinary medicine.
- A handful of Spinach
- 10cm fresh turmeric or 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp grated root ginger
- A handful of Blueberries
- 1.5 Tbsp Honey or Agave Syrup if vegan
- 200ml Oat or Almond Milk
- 200ml Water
Pop all the ingredients into a blender and blend on a medium to high setting for 3 minutes or until a smooth liquid is formed. Drink up and feel better!
