The Mindful Cook retreats are a weekend of nourishment for women who have been on a programme or course.
Balanced and nutritious food, gentle movement, time to pause and take time for yourself. This weekend is a moment to escape the day-to-day and immerse yourself in these things.
Two nights in beautiful accommodation at a stunning location. You’ll be invited to take part in creating some nutritious and delicious food, stretch out your limbs with daily yoga, take some space to relax your mind and chill out in a relaxed environment. Oh! And we like to have a bit of fun too.

The focus of this retreat is on food and lifestyle habits for nourishment and metabolic health. For women only, it's designed to help you to relax, re-set and to provide you with realistic, practical techniques that you take home with you and put into use every day.
There’s an opportunity to take part in an evening guided meditation and early morning yoga session. As a guest, you are welcome to join in as much or as little as you like, it’s entirely up to you. Nothing about this weekend is obligatory, you can pick and choose whatever you want to do.
Most of all, take time for yourself, experience and taste some new things, leave with a folder full of new recipes and the know-how to re-create them at home, and take a well-deserved break.
The retreat starts around 3pm on a Friday and finishes around 11am on Sunday morning

Taking in a daily movement class that helps you to tune in and move your body in a positive way. Classes are aimed at all abilities and there will be something for everyone.
Time just for you
Exploring the peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Your chance to put down the phone (phones are not banned…and neither is alcohol!) but rather a chance to leave the emails behind, get some much needed ‘you time’ and escape.
The food is whole, nutritious and delicious. Designed with balance in mind: hormones, fatty acids, food groups and plates.
Food for female metabolic health is the theme for the weekend and there’s a glorious array of flavours and textures and cuisines.
Breakfasts are buffet style. Lunches are light and relaxed and evening meals are an occasion, one of which you will help to prepare.
There is something for everyone.
Amazing! I left The Mindful Cook Retreat feeling so refreshed. It was so great to spend the weekend with Josie (who is an outstanding cook, teacher & coach!) and from the moment I arrived (late!) I felt so relaxed, at ease and welcome. I loved the atmosphere and learnt some great recipes and tips that will stick with me for life. The yoga, meditation & massage were fantastic too.
