Meet your coach
I'm Josie. I'm a Food and Eating Psychology Coach and founder of The Mindful Cook. I help savvy women, like you, to get off the diet treadmill once and for all and learn evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle principles that will enable you to achieve your health goals, whilst also enjoying life.
I know it can be nerve wracking embarking on another health programme when you've been failed by diets. You might be feeling like it's impossible to break patterns of dieting or unwanted food behaviours, or worried that if you develop a more relaxed relationship with food that you’ll gain weight rather than lose it. The truth is, taking restrictive measures to manage your weight messes with your hormone balance, it takes a toll on your emotional health and it causes weight fluctuations. This programme teaches you what you need to know about your metabolic health and nutrition so that you can manage your weight naturally, you'll learn the mindset and self-care skills that will help you overcome your self-sabotaging behaviors and you'll feel stronger and more energised as a result.

The Non Diet Method
A phased nutrition programme that will enable you to balance blood sugars, reduce inflammation in the body, promote healthy hormone function and maintain a healthy weight. Guides, training videos and over 200 delicious recipes, to tempt your taste-buds and nourish every cell in your body.
Unwanted food habits can hold you back from your wellness goals. This program provides you with the tools and strategies to identify and break these habits. Whether it's emotional eating, mindless snacking, or stress-induced bingeing, you'll gain insight into the underlying triggers and develop healthier ways to cope and respond. You'll also discover the all important connect between your nervous system and your metabolism.
A recommended programme of movement that works alongside your nutrition plan to help you to de-stress, build lean muscle, build your strength and support your emotional health. If you already have a movement practice in place, it's no problem, this is simply to inspire you to move in a way that promotes metabolic health.

How does it work?
This is a community powered programme which means you'll have access to a dashboard of nutrition and mindset resources and you'll be fully supported in adapting your diet and lifestyle habits through our online community where you'll become a member of a group of like-minded women, you'll have access to a schedule of monthly live events (cooking and coaching), you'll get your questions answered and, you'll be offered one-to-one coaching with me via direct message. This provides you with a much bigger chance of success and is one of the unique benefits of The Non-Diet Method.
You'll get to learn the science behind the recommended dietary and lifestyle changes so that you feel empowered to make food and lifestyle choices that honour your health, for life. You'll learn everything you need to know through three short, engaging video tutorials with associated exercises. You’ll get some tips on how to prepare yourself and your environment for the exciting changes ahead, and you'll be given everything you need to prepare for phase one.
Phase one: Rest and reset
The aim of this phase is to gently reset your metabolism, promote healthy hormone function and heal your relationship with your body.
This is approached through:
- Nutrition that addresses blood sugar balance and increasing nutrient density, which will give you more energy, reduce your cravings and allow your to manage your weight with ease.
- Mindset techniques to help you to identify and break patterns of unwanted eating behaviour. Whether it's emotional eating, mindless snacking, or stress-induced bingeing, you'll gain insight into the underlying triggers and develop healthier ways to cope and respond.
- Understand the importance of regulating your nervous system through movement and other practices that can help you to get in tune with your body, reduce stress and gently improve flexibility.
Phase two: Strengthen and build
The aim of this phase is to support you in healing inflammation in the body, learning to practice body kindness and become more intuitive in your eating habits and and build physical strength.
This is approached through:
- Nutrition focused on healing inflammation by addressing your fatty acid balance and continuing to increase nutrient variety.
- Mindset techniques focused on helping you befriend your body and become more attuned to your natural hunger and fullness cues.
- Movement practices to help you to build lean muscle, strengthen bones and feel strong and body confident!

It took me 10 years to fix my relationship with food, it will take you 6 months with this programme and if you don’t succeed in that time frame, I’ll work with you until you do.
Having worked with many women on their journey to transforming their relationship with food, I know that making meaningful change that positively impacts your life well into the future takes time. The Non-Diet Method requires a 6 month commitment for you to learn, put the learning into practice and refine it so that it works for you as the beautiful individual you are. This also gives you time to take it at a pace that suits your busy lifestyle.
The price of the programme is £447 for six months. you can choose to pay in one sum or in 6 monthly installments. After that, there is an option to stick around in the membership and have continued access to the programme content, live events and coaching for just £19.99 per month.
